For Indian, Bangladeshi, and Maldivian passport holders, you don’t need a visa to visit Bhutan. However, you do need an entry permit to enter the country, which can be arranged on arrival or in advance through a local travel agent like Adorable Vacation Bhutan.

You must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity for your trip to Bhutan.

Once you have the entry permit, you’re free to travel beyond Thimphu and Paro on any day with the same permit.

Under the new tourism policy, regional tourists need to pay a Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of Rs. 1200 per person per night, which is separate from the tour package cost (including flights, hotels, meals, guides, transportation, and monument fees).

All permits for the Mumbai to Bhutan tour will be processed online.

It’s mandatory to have approved hotel bookings by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) and a tour guide.

You can process online permits through a local registered tour operator or international partners.
