The PSLE AL score is a key element of Singapore’s Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) scoring system. Introduced in 2021, the Achievement Level (AL) system replaced the old T-score format to provide a fairer assessment of students’ performance. The PSLE AL score measures academic ability using eight bands, from AL1 (best) to AL8, with AL1 representing a score range of 90-100 marks. The final score is the sum of the AL grades across four subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, and Mother Tongue.
